This policy applies to all purchases made through the shop at starlingsworld.com.

Your Statutory Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item(s), without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing (by email to hello@starlingsworld.com) with a clear statement of your decision to cancel before the 14-day period expires.

Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused, unworn and unaltered

  • In their original packaging, with all tags attached

  • Returned within 14 days of notifying us of the cancellation

We reserve the right to reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning — in other words, beyond what you would do in a shop.

How to Return an Item

  1. Email us at hello@starlingsworld.com to notify us you wish to cancel.

  2. We will confirm your return and provide any necessary instructions.

  3. Post the item(s) back to us at: The Groucho Club, 45 Dean Street, Soho, London W1D 4QB, UK.

You are responsible for the cost of return postage. We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit back to us.

Items must be received by us within 14 days of your cancellation notification.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected the returned item(s), we will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the credit.

Original delivery charges will be refunded only at the basic (standard) delivery rate, even if you chose a faster delivery option at checkout.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@starlingsworld.com. In these cases we will cover the return postage and offer a full refund or replacement at your choice.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this policy.

Items We Cannot Accept for Return

We are unable to accept returns on:

  • Personalised or custom-made items

  • Items that have been worn, washed or altered
