Starling is an unlikely story, dressed in bubblegum pink.

Always told she couldn't sing, her journey here has been more about defying limiting beliefs to realise she is (as we all are if we can transcend the noise) limitless.

Serving drinks in a basement bar in Soho one night having the courage finally to stand up at the end of a shift and just sing acapella, she got discovered. The bar happened to have Henry of Zero7 in the audience (Sia’s first band) and from there she got signed and ended up in sessions with Massive Attack and multiple Grammy award-winning writers.

She has since graced the covers of prestigious magazines like Wonderland, Fault and The Guardian, while her music has found its way onto over 18 Spotify “New Music Friday” playlists. Named BBC Radio 1“New Noise” artist and Amazon Music UK’s “Weekly One” Choice, she has also had her music featured on Love Island.

In the pandemic when she couldn't tour America because the world was on hold she gave talks online that took like wildfire… this was the birth of her talks and programmes. She helped 380 people leave their day job and thousands with their self worth and net worth. In a nutshell her international speaking career has subsequently blossomed and “The Platform” continues to help people through bespoke consulting and in-person events.

Last year Starling did an unorthodox house concert tour that went viral, due to a reel, where she said she was “tired of being online and wanted to bring the connection offline”.. "I'll sing in your garden, kitchen, home" - she selected 35 houses. 4000 miles later and hundreds of hearts touched she is now in the process of making a tv show on the concept.

Latest single “Queen: Summer version”  is BBC Record of the week (Aug 2025) with her sound being referred to as “pop therapy”.

Vivienne Westwood (RIP) Phoebe Waller Bridge and Shane Meadows are fans and Eminem has had Starling’s “No rest for the wicked” on hold for his latest album.

She likes dancing, hula hooping and earl grey tea and has three bunny rabbits… Boris, Beatrice and Fat Baby.

With millions of streams under her belt and comparisons to Lorde and Taylor Swift, Starling is set for pop stardom.
